- Is Coed Lax ATX a league or pickup play?
- Pickup play. There are no teams, no standings, and no season commitment — just show up on a scheduled day and get in a game.
- Are the rules different for coed play?
- We play modified women's rules, with an emphasis on safe shooting and controlled checking. It's friendly pickup play, not competitive — we don't keep score. The rules doc has the full details.
- What skill level do I need?
- All levels welcome, from former college players to people picking up a stick for the first time. Games are organized to keep sides balanced.
- How much does it cost?
- It's free — the group runs on donations rather than charging a per-session fee.
- What gear do I need to bring?
- No gear is required to show up. Cleats and a stick are ideal if you have them — loaner sticks are available, just DM us on Instagram ahead of time. Mouthguards and other protective equipment are encouraged but not required. Long poles aren't allowed.
- Where and when do games happen?
- Games are in Austin, TX, every Saturday morning from 10am–noon. Check Instagram for the specific field each week, and feel free to DM with any questions.
